A weekly slate, with games across the week
NBA weeks run Monday through Sunday in your league timezone. The commissioner prepares and publishes the shared slate; players make their picks in their own accounts. The next week can be prepared beginning Sunday at noon in that timezone.
Regular-season games are supported. A commissioner can optionally include the play-in and playoffs, and separately choose whether to include the standalone NBA Cup championship. Preseason, Summer League, G League, WNBA, All-Star and exhibition events are outside this format.
Straight-up or against the spread
Straight-up picks ask which team wins. Spread picks ask which team covers the shared final pregame line. Correct selections earn one point; incorrect picks, missing picks and pushes earn zero. This basketball format does not use football confidence rankings or a Game of the Week multiplier.
NBA spreads remain fluid until tipoff. An early pick does not reserve a personal spread: everyone is graded against the shared valid pregame snapshot frozen at the lock. A game without a valid grading spread is a no contest for spread scoring.
Each game has its own lock
A game locks at its scheduled tipoff, or earlier if the provider confirms it has begun. When that game locks, other members can see its picks. Future games stay private until their own locks.
A game with an unknown tipoff time cannot be picked until a reliable time is available. The slate and provider updates determine which games are available; check your league before assuming every future game is ready to pick.
Follow your group’s standings
Game results feed grading and the weekly and season standings. Empty NBA weeks do not count as losses. If a schedule or final score changes, check the current game status and commissioner’s update before announcing the week’s winner.
Start with 1 active league free for up to 25 players. Larger groups or multiple active leagues can require an annual plan. Your friends can play for points without wagering on the games.
Common questions
Do I have to make every NBA pick before Monday?
No. Each game locks individually at its effective tipoff lock. Finish your picks before the deadlines shown in your league.
Can I use confidence points for NBA?
Suite’s NBA format uses one point for each correct selection. It does not use football confidence weights.
Is this an NBA playoff bracket?
No. Optional postseason scope includes eligible games in the weekly pick’em workflow. It is not a standalone bracket builder.
